I know I belong in the fashion world but already I have faced
numerous rejections trying to get a job in the business, yet, i'm not even
trying to be a designer. Is it the economy or is it the influx of girls
being influenced by the media in high school trying to make their glamourous
and often unrealistic dreams into a reality? I have to admit, I was one of
those girls in high school that watched The Hills and thought that
Lauren and Whitney had the perfect life. But as I have grown up, I have
learned the realities of the industry and I am still here, fighting for
fashion. In my experience this is what you have to do when making a
career in the industry, fight. Fight for your love of fashion, fight for your
decision of fashion, fight for your style of fashion and finally, fight for a
job in fashion.
